Gage House is a 15-bed residential facility licensed to concurrently treat substance use disorders and mental health Illness. It is a voluntary treatment program for men and women aged 18 and older. Gage House offers structured treatment activities, individualized to meet the needs of each person entering the program. Individuals can expect to participate in group therapy multiple times per day with a variety of topics and activities. They will also receive regular contact with a psychiatrist and sessions with a counselor. Family participation is encouraged in weekly group and individual sessions as needed. The length of treatment depends on the needs of each person; stays vary in length from 21-90 days as determined by the clinical team. Individuals will also be assessed and linked with community providers as deemed appropriate during their treatment stay.

The Stairways Behavioral Health long-term structured residence (LTSR) setting provides a highly recovery-focused mental health treatment program. Referrals are received from a supervised setting; and treatment focuses on managing mental health symptoms, developing independent living skills and re-integration into the community.
The LTSR is a part of Erie County's continuum of care and bridges the gap between hospital and home with an extended stay lasting an average of six months. The treatment-rich environment is guided by a physician, nurses and a team of mental health professionals, mental health workers and peer specialists.

The Adult Residential Treatment Program is a 15-bed facility providing 24-hr, supervised care for up to 30 days. The program provides a safe and supportive setting as an alternative to inpatient mental health hospitalization or as a step-down from inpatient care.
Not only do individuals in acute psychological distress require kindness and care, but they many need assistance in managing normal everyday routines that, under better circumstances, would not appear daunting at all.
Treatment is tailored to meet each individual's needs and goals through a holistic, multidisciplinary approach. Services provided can include psychiatry, nursing, individual and group therapy and case management.

The Registered Nurse (RN) functions as a clinical member of a multidisciplinary team and provides recovery-oriented treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to clients enrolled in the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program. This position is responsible for assessing the physical and mental health needs of each program participant in conjunction with the psychiatrist, which includes planning medical interventions for inclusion in the treatment plan, providing health education, making appropriate referrals to community physicians and maintaining regular contact with the provider pharmacy. The incumbent is also responsible for management of the medication monitoring service which includes maintaining appropriate medication inventory, storage, and security systems; ensuring that all MARs are accurate and up-to-date, and maintaining up-to-date written and verbal record keeping. Communication with other program staff regarding the clients' medical conditions and medication needs is also critical. The RN, along with every member of the ACT team, must adhere to the fidelity standards, DPW regulations, and the policies and procedures established by the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Current licensure as Registered Nurse by State of Pennsylvania.

3. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, organizational skills and the ability to effectively work with a team.

Stairways Personal Care Homes are 24-hour, supervised, state-licensed facilities where persons with mental health care needs receive therapeutic support as well as recreational and social opportunities. This Nursing position is within our Mobile Medication Monitoring (MMM) program which is a community based program. The MMM nurse is responsible for providing in-home mobile medication monitoring services to clients in need of skills training, symptom management, and resource coordination. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Certified Peer Specialist is responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals enrolled in the LTSR program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: providing orientation to clients in programs and/or services that might be unfamiliar to them, both individually and in groups; assisting individuals in identifying recovery goals; assisting individuals in selecting services and/or program offerings that will be useful in achieving their recovery goals; offering support and mentoring as needed in the implementation of the recovery plan; exploring, securing and utilizing each clients' support network and/or community resources; medication monitoring; and, crisis intervention.
