POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for facilitating group and individual behavioral therapy for adults with mental illness and their families. This treatment component is an integral part of a multidisciplinary clinical team that utilizes professional clinical judgment in the use of various therapeutic interventions. Further, the incumbent must maintain a professional relationship with internal program staff and community resource providers as well to ensure quality programming and appropriate aftercare planning. POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for assessing client medical and mental status, providing client education, assisting the psychiatrist and therapists in providing medical and treatment services to identified clients, and providing a nursing perspective on treatment teams. Position Summary:
The Mental Health Professional (MHP) functions as a clinical member of the multidisciplinary team and provides treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to clients enrolled in the LTSR program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: individual and group therapy, case management, medication monitoring, assistance with the activities of daily living (ADL), crisis intervention, psychosocial education, vocational support and supportive counseling.
