POSITION SUMMARY:

The Mental Health Worker functions as a clinical member of the multidisciplinary team and is responsible for implementing rehabilitation and support interventions as outlined in the treatment plan for clients enrolled in the ACT program and under the clinical supervision of staff with professional degrees.                   Position Summary:

                  The Mental Health Professional (MHP) functions as a clinical member of the multidisciplinary team and provides treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to clients enrolled in the LTSR program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: individual and group therapy, case management, medication monitoring, assistance with the activities of daily living (ADL), crisis intervention, psychosocial education, vocational support and supportive counseling. The incumbent is expected to provide recovery-oriented interventions according to each client's individual treatment plan and maintain professional relationships with other providers, both internal and external to the program. The MHP, along with every member of the LTSR team, must adhere to the DPW regulations and the policies and procedures established by the organization.

                  Minimum Qualifications:

                  1. Master's level degree or higher in generally recognized clinical discipline and one (1) year of mental health clinical experience.
                  2. Registered, licensed or certified if profession is governed by such a board in the Commonwealth.
                  3. Exceptional communication skills, both written & verbal, organizational skills & the ability to effectively work with a team of other mental health professionals.
                  4. Strong clinical skills with working knowledge of the mental health system, psychiatric rehabilitation principles and recovery-oriented practices.
                  5. Ability to effectively work with persons with mental illness, developmental disabilities, substance abuse disorders and forensic issues and encourage their participation with comprehensive treatment plans.
                  6. Act 33/34/31 and FBI Clearances
                  7. Valid driver's license with access to a vehicle during scheduled work hours.

                      POSITION SUMMARY:

                      This position is responsible for conducting bio-psycho-social assessments to determine appropriate placement levels for outpatient dual diagnosis care. The incumbent also facilitates individual and group counseling sessions to provide clients with opportunities to explore recovery issues and work toward mutually determined recovery goals.

                      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

                      1. Bachelors level degree in related field or equivalent education and experience as determined by agency standards and guidelines of position.
                      2. Must have valid Pennsylvania licensure or Pennsylvania Certification Board credentials, including LPC, LCSW, LSW, CAAC, CADC, CAADC, or CSS or be able to acquire licensure or credentials within two (2) years of hire.

                      POSITION SUMMARY:

                      This position is responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals struggling with addiction issues or co-occurring substance abuse and mental health issues. The position will provide outreach, mentoring, and peer support at all stages of the recovery process. The position includes face to face contact both individually and in groups; assisting individuals in developing a recovery plan and achieving objectives; assisting individuals in selecting services and/or program offerings that will be useful in achieving their recovery goals; offering support and mentoring as needed in the implementation of the recovery plan; and, exploring, securing and utilizing each client's support network and/or community resources.

                      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

                      1. High School graduate or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and be 18 years of age or older.
                      2. Must have a minimum of three years in recovery from addiction to alcohol or other drugs and have a strong recovery program that includes natural supports.
                      3. Must have Recovery Specialist certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board.
                      4. Valid driver's license with access to a vehicle during scheduled work hours.
