    The Adult Residential Treatment Program is a 15-bed facility providing 24-hr, supervised care for up to 30 days. The program provides a safe and supportive setting as an alternative to inpatient mental health hospitalization or as a step-down from inpatient care.
    Not only do individuals in acute psychological distress require kindness and care, but they many need assistance in managing normal everyday routines that, under better circumstances, would not appear daunting at all.

    Treatment is tailored to meet each individual's needs and goals through a holistic, multidisciplinary approach. Services provided can include psychiatry, nursing, individual and group therapy and case management.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for facilitating group and individual behavioral therapy for adults with mental illness and their families. This treatment component is an integral part of a multidisciplinary clinical team that utilizes professional clinical judgment in the use of various therapeutic interventions. Further, the incumbent must maintain a professional relationship with internal program staff and community resource providers as well to ensure quality programming and appropriate aftercare planning. Crisis management and resolution are also important functions of this position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Master's level degree in psychology, counseling or a related field and a minimum of two years of supervised clinical work experience. Licensure preferred.
  2. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, organizational skills and the ability to effectively work with a multidisciplinary team.
  3. Strong clinical skills with working knowledge of mental health system, treatment modalities, and recovery approaches.
  4. Ability to effectively work with persons with mental illness and develop comprehensive treatment plans for their program participation.
  5. Act 33/34 Clearance and FBI Criminal Background Check.
  6. Valid driver's license with access to a vehicle during scheduled work hours.
